Maribel Rosendo-Servin

Maribel Rosendo-Servin, a first-generation Chicana born in Mexico and raised in Stockton, California, has dedicated her career to fostering social justice, equity, and education. With a decade of experience as an Ethnic Studies, History, and Multilingual education teacher, she now serves Boston Public Schools’ Teacher Pipeline Programs as a Teaching Fellowship Specialist, supporting and coaching new and early career teachers.
Maribel co-taught one of Boston's first Ethnic Studies pilot courses, led professional learning sessions, and previously developed the inaugural Ethnic Studies courses in California's Manteca and San Juan Unified School Districts.
Beyond the classroom, she has organized with the Ethnic Studies Now Coalition in Sacramento and led initiatives for equity, social justice, and family engagement. Her recent pursuit of an Administrative Credential reflects her commitment to transforming educational systems and honoring the legacy of her ancestors, ensuring that cultural history and knowledge remain central to youth education.
